1. Current position
The code review found no advertising analytics, marketing pixels, behavioural personalisation or social cookies. The member area uses session and security technology strictly needed to authenticate, maintain a requested session and protect the service. Such technology can operate without consent only while genuinely limited to that purpose.
Momentum does not display a misleading accept banner for cookies it does not use. Any future non-essential technology will remain blocked until prior information and a genuine accept, reject or configure choice of equal ease are available.
2. Necessary categories
Exact names, domain, purpose and lifetime must be verified on the final deployment because provider libraries and configuration can change them. A necessary cookie may not be extended to measurement, marketing or profiling without a fresh legal review and consent where required.
- Session and authentication: securely retain, refresh and end the signed-in session.
- Security and integrity: help prevent abuse, maintain the requested flow and apply technical limits.
- Language preference: may be carried in the URL or a strictly functional preference.
3. Control and deletion
Sign out to end the active session and use browser controls to inspect, block or delete storage. Blocking strictly necessary technology may prevent account creation, sign-in or another requested operation, while the informational site should remain available.
